Dissolving a marriage can be a stressful time for all concerned including the children, if any. Emotions run high, trust has been violated, and tempers are hot.  You need someone with experience and judgment who can step back from the highly charged situation and discuss reasonable outcomes.

 

A dissolution of marriage proceeding will result in hearings in the District Court. After the marriage has been dissolved, circumstances often change and I can help amend agreements by stipulation between the arties or by petitioning the court to address new situations. I have also helped clients obtain overdue back child support.

I have been engaged in obtaining custody for parties and I have been appointed by numerous courts to represent the interests of children in custody issues. I have obtained restraining orders when there has been recent domestic violence or the threat thereof.
